What better time to come together as a community than, now! Join us, for Atlanta’s Annual Pakistan Resolution Day Flag Hoisting Ceremony, on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the prestigious Atlanta International School!

When: Saturday March 18th at 1pm

Where: Atlanta International School
2890 North Fulton Drive Northeast Atlanta, GA 30305

Bring yourself and everyone who’s willing to come. Carpool. Wear Green. Be there on time. Leave an extra 30 minutes for parking, and another 30 for traffic – we live in Atlanta.

We can tell you from experience, that no amount of food, fun, entertainment, celebrity, freebies, concerts, or anything else, can be compared to a simple outdoor flag ceremony, that lifts the heart and soul like nothing you’ve every known. You just have to be there to experience it.

We’ll have refreshments, but really, don’t come for that, just come to be present, to represent, to be with people from the community as one, and witness, this moment in history. 🇺🇸🇵🇰❤️

Pakistan Independence Day 2021 Message from Consul General Pakistan, Houston, Mr. Abrar H. Hashmi

My dear members of Pakistani-American Community
Happy Pakistan Diamond Jubilee Independence Day!!!

Asslamo’alikum,

I extend my warmest regards to all of you and your families on this Independence Day, 14 August 2021.

While today we thank Almighty Allah for His countless blessings bestowed on us and on Pakistan, we also pray for those who have toiled in the long journey leading to the independence of Pakistan.

During the past year or so, owing to COVID-19, many have suffered and been impacted. Our prayers and thoughts are with them. COVID-19 situation in Pakistan remained under control. The situation is far better than majority of regional countries and by global standards. So far, at least 32 million people have been vaccinated

Pakistan stands in complete solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIoJK), for their legitimate rights including right to self determination as per UN resolutions.  Following unilateral & illegal actions of India of 05 August 2019, people of IIoJK face worst kind of human rights violations.

The present Government has invested in and implemented policies to regional peace, amity and development. It has brought changes to bring more transparency, inclusion, responsiveness and responsibility in governance. Besides, mainstreaming vulnerable segments of the society, now youth and Overseas Pakistanis are driving the policies.

This Consulate General strives to provide quick, smooth, and efficient services. In line with the vision of the Prime Minister, NADRA centre, first in USA, was inaugurated on 23 July 2021 by Ambassador of Pakistan to USA Dr. Asad M Khan, is fully functional.

The story of Pakistan is incomplete without individual and collective stories of our diaspora communities. Pakistani-American community is a thriving diaspora and shines with its expertise, skills, and resources. I invite all of you to benefit from the lucrative investment schemes, Roshan digital account and participate in other ways in the collective national journey.

Pakistan Paindabad!

(Abrar H Hashmi)
